Ethan "Rampage" Yau said he's going to put in the work on tournament poker in 2026, and the commitment already appears to be paying off in spades.
The popular vlogger known for punting stacks has done anything but punt thus far during the PGT Kickoff series. Through four events, he's reached two final tables, his most recent one a runner-up finish to Taylor Paur in Event #4: $5,300 No-Limit Hold'em, which attracted 145 entries.
Paur Wins, But Rampage on a Heater
The final table in Event #4 was a tough one, with seven proven crushers all battling for the $174,000 first-place prize, which inevitably went to Paur. Justin Zaki (seventh for $29,000), Scott Eskenazi (sixth for $36,250), Paul Roy (fifth for $43,500), Jeremy Becker (fourth for $58,000), and Andrew Moreno (third for $76,125) all came close to capturing the title.
Paur, holding Kx7x had his smaller-stacked opponent all in preflop during heads-up play. Yau turned over the superior Kx9x, but a 7x landed on the river to end the tournament in bad beat fashion.

Rampage, who won $105,125 and now has over $3.3 million in The Hendon Mob cashes, vowed to work on his tournament game. He posted a video on Jan. 25 explaining his plans for 2026.
"I've been chasing the all-time money list in Masachusetts. Now it's 2026, and with $3 million in live cashes, I'm $400,000 away from cracking that Top 10," Yau said in the video.
Rampage claims he's been "pretty average" in everything throughout his life, including sports and gaming. But "with poker, it's given me the ability to be special in something. So, follow along in my 2026 journey. I'm committing myself to playing tournaments and making this five-year dream a reality."
The vlogger with over 350,000 YouTube subscribers now ranks 11th all-time in live tournament cashes among Massachusetts players. He's now about $200,000 away from surpassing Elijah Berg for the 10th spot. Nick Petrangelo, with $40 million in cashes, has a massive lead in the Bay State.
Rampage is often criticized by poker fans, including his vlog followers, for punting in tournaments and cash games. He's booked numerous brutal sessions on livestream shows such as Hustler Casino Live. But, perhaps, the ClubWPT Gold ambassador will rebrand away from the "Rampunts" moniker in 2026. So far, so good.
The PGT Kickoff series continued on Friday with the start of Event #5: $10,500 No-Limit Hold'em at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.
