$1.4M Guaranteed Poker Series Kicks Off at Wynn Las Vegas

Last month, Wynn Las Vegas hosted the WPT World Championship that saw Schuyler Thornton win $2 million. Now, the popular Las Vegas poker room is kicking off the new year with the Wynn Signature Series, a slate of tournaments that will award over $1.4 million in guaranteed prizes.
The Wynn Signature Series, which began today and runs through Jan. 19, consists of 29 poker tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $200 to $1,100, including nine non-hold'em mixed game events.
Over $1.4 Million in Guarantees
Action at the Wynn began on Jan. 5 with three events, including a $600 No-Limit Hold'em event with a $200,000 guarantee and a $400 Big O event with a $20,000 guarantee.
There are several other mixed game events on the schedule, including $400 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw, $400 Mixed Triple Draw (2-7, A-5, Badugi), $400 5-Card PLO, $400 TORSE and $400 PLO Double Board Bomb Pot events.
Additionally, the series will offer a $600 NLH Progressive Bounty PKO tournament with a $50,000 guarantee.
The series will culminate with a multi-day $1,100 NLH event running Jan. 9-12 and offering a $400,000 guaranteed prize pool.
There are other events with big guarantees on the schedule, including a $600 NLH event with a $250,000 guarantee and a $400 NLH event with a $100,000 guarantee.
There have been other recent highlights in the Wynn Poker Room, one of the nicest poker rooms worldwide, including Timofei Sharipov winning back-to-back events on New Year's Eve and the first day of the new year.
Other players who have picked up trophies at the Wynn in the new year include Paul Hamard ($200 NLH - $4,182), Dan Barker ($160 Nightly - $3,643), Yang Li ($240 Rebuy - $10,333), Vignan Manne ($160 NLH - $4,172), Yansong Kou ($300 NLH - $7,737) and Michael Rocco ($160 NLH Nightly - $3,542).
Additionally, there's plenty of action to come at the Wynn. Several festivals are expected throughout 2026, including the Wynn Summer Classic, which last year included the $10,400 Wynn Summer Championship that saw Michael Sklenicka winning $2.3 million.
