Successful Month for King's Resort as Big Guarantees Smashed Across Major Events
The poker never stops at King’s Resort, Rozvadov, and February delivered another full schedule of festivals at Europe’s biggest poker room.
Italian Poker Sport, $TOS$ Millions, and German Poker Days each crowned Main Event champions, while the Vamos Poker Tour has now arrived, with its €600,000 Main Event already underway.
Here’s a look at the latest players to capture Main Event titles during the busy stretch at King’s Resort.
Aram Ali Picks Up Biggest Prize of the Month
The €380 Italian Poker Sport Main Event proved the standout event of the month at King’s Resort, attracting massive interest thanks to its ambitious €1,500,000 guarantee. By the time registration closed, a total of 5,258 entries had poured into Rozvadov, creating a €1,689,334 prize pool ($2,015,815) and rewarding the top 724 players with at least a €750 min-cash.
Several familiar King’s Resort regulars made deep runs as the field narrowed. Italian duo Michele Tocci and Claudio Di Giacomo both came within touching distance of the final table. Tocci, a WSOP Circuit ring winner who finished third in the 2023 WSOP Europe Main Event, exited in 15th place for €9,200, while Di Giacomo, not long removed from a fifth-place finish in the 2025 WSOP Europe Main Event, followed closely behind in 16th for €7,725.
Despite the strong Italian presence throughout the late stages, the trophy ultimately left the host nation behind and headed to Germany, with Aram Ali emerging victorious to claim the €203,750 top prize. The result marked the largest score of Ali’s career and pushed his lifetime live earnings to $496,210, an impressive milestone for a player who only recorded his first live cash in March 2024. It also represented his second six-figure result at King’s Resort, having previously finished runner-up in the 2024 PokerStars Eureka Main Event for €147,000.
Ali dominated at the final table and in three-handed play he faced two Italian hopefuls. Daniele Sacchi eliminated Antonio De Lucia in third place after his pocket fours held against king-queen, setting up the heads-up duel between Sacchi and Ali.
Ali entered heads-up with a commanding chip lead of more than 4:1 and wasted little time closing out the victory. In the final hand, his king-queen paired up to best Sacchi’s ace-deuce, securing the title in under 30 minutes.
Sacchi collected €126,750 for his runner-up finish, while Ali walked away with his first major poker title.

Small Overlay for $ZTO$ Millions
Hot on the heels of Italian Poker Sport, the $ZTO$ Millions festival rolled into King’s Resort with a €1,000,000 series guarantee, anchored by a €250 buy-in Main Event featuring a €500,000 guarantee.
The low buy-in once again drew a large field, with 1,909 entries recorded across the Main Event. While the number fell just short of the required figure, King’s Resort honoured the full €500,000 prize pool, continuing its commitment to ambitious, player-friendly tournaments.
Marco Wagner played a key role in shaping the final table, thinning the field from six to four after eliminating Dorian Jedrzejczyk and “Justy” in a double knockout when both opponents were the microstacks. With four players remaining, an ICM deal was agreed that locked up significant payouts, while leaving additional money and the trophy still to play for.
From there, “Director” eliminated “Aladin” in fourth place before “Alpine Nemesis” took care of “Director” to bring the tournament heads-up against Wagner.
The final duel was decided quickly in a classic preflop cooler. On just the second hand of heads-up play, “Alpine Nemesis” picked up pocket queens while Wagner held ace-king. The chips went in as expected, and the queens held to seal the title where the champ turned a €250 buy-in into €37,582.

Switzerland-based “KillPhil” reached the final three alongside Zhora Safaryan and Patrik Robok, where the trio agreed to an ICM deal that still left the trophy and additional prize money up for grabs. KillPhil then eliminated Safaryan in third place with a seven-high straight to take the chip lead into heads-up.
