For more than a decade, King’s Resort has been at the very center of European poker.

Since becoming the home of WSOP Europe in 2015, the Rozvadov casino has crowned hundreds of bracelet winners, awarded tens of millions and turned quiet autumns on the Czech-German border into a yearly pilgrimage for grinders and dream chasers.

That chapter is about to pause. In March 2026, WSOP Europe heads to Prague, ending a run that helped define King’s as one of Europe’s most important card rooms.

Before the lights dim on that era, PokerNews looks back at the five biggest winners in King’s Resort history, the players who made Rozvadov their personal gold mine.

5. James Chen - $3.2 Million

Taiwan’s all-time money list leader doesn’t have volume on his side at King’s Resort, but he doesn’t need it.

James Chen has just three recorded cashes in Rozvadov, yet they total $3,197,146, almost all of it coming from one unforgettable result.

In 2019, Chen took down the €250,000 WSOPE Super High Roller for $3,142,848, still the biggest cash of his career and a score that accounts for a huge chunk of his $11.4 million in lifetime earnings.

Outside that win, Chen returned briefly during the 2023 WSOP Europe, adding two modest cashes before moving on.

4. Mikita Badziakouski - $3.4 Million

One of the most accomplished tournament players of all time, Mikita Badziakouski sits fourth on poker’s all-time money list with more than $66 million in live cashes, and King’s Resort played a meaningful role in that climb.

He has earned $3,375,420 in Rozvadov, headlined by a third-place finish in the €111,111 High Roller for One Drop at the 2017 WSOP Europe, good for $1,772,822. It remains one of the best results of his career.

Despite countless deep runs, Badziakouski has just one title at King’s, winning the €25,000 Short Deck Championship in 2018 after beating Seng Leow in a compact 15-player field.

3. Chin Wei Lim - $4.4 Million

Chin Wei Lim’s King’s Resort resume is short, but brutally efficient.

Across just five cashes, all recorded in 2018 and 2019, the Malaysian high roller has banked $4,370,153. Nearly all of it came during one explosive WSOPE campaign.

In 2019, Lim won the €100,000 WSOPE Super High Roller for $2,416,241, defeating Jean-Noel Thorel heads-up to claim his only WSOP bracelet.

Days later, he came within touching distance of an even bigger score, but finished second to the aforementioned Chen in the €250,000 Super High Roller for another $1,942,426.

Those two results alone account for almost his entire King’s haul.

2. Dominik Nitsche - $5.7 Million

Dominik Nitsche’s place near the top of this list is defined by one result that still stands as the biggest payout ever awarded at King’s Resort.

In 2017, the German star won the €111,111 High Roller for One Drop at the WSOP Europe for $4,064,026, a career-best score and his only WSOPE bracelet. That single victory makes up the bulk of his $5,660,975 earned in Rozvadov.

Across multiple years, Nitsche added several more six-figure finishes, cementing King’s as one of the most profitable joints of his career.

1. Martin Kabrhel - $7 Million

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

If King’s Resort has ever had a defining figure, it’s Martin Kabrhel.

The Czech high roller has cashed for $7,049,633 at King’s, a total that comfortably clears the rest of the field and reflects far more than a single career-defining spike. Kabrhel’s dominance in Rozvadov has been built across multiple buy-ins, and WSOPE's, making him the most successful player the venue has ever produced.

While others on this list rely heavily on one or two massive scores, Kabrhel’s résumé is layered. He has won three WSOP Europe bracelets at King’s, added five WSOP Circuit rings, and consistently gone deep in the biggest high rollers.

Despite winning a bracelet at King's in 2017, his first major breakthrough came in 2018 with victory in the €100,000 King’s Super High Roller for just under $3 million. Six years later, Kabrhel was still winning at the top, capturing the €50,000 Diamond High Roller at the 2024 WSOP Europe against a stacked 30-player field.

No player has won more, or more consistently, at King’s Resort. As the WSOP Europe prepares to leave Rozvadov, Kabrhel’s name remains inseparable from the casino.
