The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is traveling far outside the United States later this month to Tokyo, Japan for some poker action.

In collaboration with the Japan Open Poker Tour (JOPT), the RGPS will participate in a Grand Final series from April 24 to May 6 at Belle Salle Takadanobaba, one of the largest event halls in Shinjuku Ward. And it's going to be a massive festival with numerous tournaments taking place daily throughout the series.

The RunGood Poker Series will be handing out a coveted RGPS Passport ring to the winner of ¥15,000 RGPS Passport Colossus event, which runs from April 26-29. PokerNews will be in the house live reporting the tournament from start to finish, and 8131 Media will be there snapping photos of the players.

“Japan has quickly become one of the most exciting and passionate poker environments in the world,” Tana Karn, Founder and President of RunGood Poker Series, said in a press release. “Partnering again with JOPT for the Grand Final allows us to bring the RunGood experience to a global stage while celebrating the players and community that make this game special.”

“We are excited to welcome RunGood back to Japan,” said a representative from JOPT. “Their brand, energy, and player-focused approach align perfectly with what we aim to create at JOPT. This partnership continues to elevate the experience for players attending the Grand Final.”

The collaboration is big for the RunGood Poker Series, as the popular U.S.-based poker tour is setting its sights on expanding globally. Players traveling to Tokyo can expect to win exclusive RunGood gear and to compete for a ring.

The Japan Open Poker Tour is Japan’s premier poker organization, hosting large-scale festivals and tournaments that attract thousands of players annually. JOPT is dedicated to growing the game of poker in Japan through accessible, high-quality events and a welcoming community atmosphere.
