Spain's Daniel Vicente came agonizingly close to becoming a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner in Las Vegas in 2025. The Spaniard fell at the final hurdle in the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship, losing out heads-up to Sam Soverel.
Fast-forward a year, and Vicente has gotten his hands on poker's most sought-after jewelry after coming out on top in the $1,000 Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha event online at GGPoker.

The events drew 771 entrants, creating a $732,450 prize pool. Those hopefuls were cut to only 12 on Day 1. Most of the biggest mystery bounties were won on the first day, including an impressive $91,000, which is now in Daniel Daw's GGPoker account.
Day 2 saw the likes of Simon Mattsson, Diego Zeiter, Lex Veldhuis, and Dimitrios Michailidis fall by the wayside. China's Alex Zev, who started Day 2 with the chip lead, crashed out in eighth and burst the final table bubble.
Eduardo "Scanner-" Bernal was the first of the seven finalists to see their stack evaporate. Bernal collected $10,651 for his efforts. Brazilian Matheus Grazziotin fell in sixth for $29,681 before "Mger_Aleksani" of Armenia bowed out in fifth for $31,638.
Fourth place and $22,862 went to Taiwan's "MACHINAA," with Cyrus-based player "BBHDAMT7angels" coming unstuck in third, a finish good for $32,868.
The Cypriot's elimination left Vicente heads-up against Renan Bruschi. Brazilians had won two of the opening three WSOP Online events, so history perhaps favored Bruschi, but it was Vicente who came out on top. Vicente walked away with $99,441, a $30,000 Super Pass for the 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, and his first WSOP bracelet.
$1 Million Guaranteed Flip & Go Event Concludes August 22
Another bracelet will be won on August 22 when #5: $100 Flip & Go NLH crowns its champions. Plenty of $100 buy-in Flip Stages run throughout August 22, with surviving players returning to the tables from 7:00 p.m. BST for the GO stage, the traditional tournament part of this popular format.
At the time of publication, 9,939 players had bought in across the completed Flip Stages, meaning the $1 million guarantee will likely be obliterated by the time the GO Stage comes around.
