Biography

Jonathan Karamilikis is an Australian professional poker player mostly traveling his home country and New Zealand's live tournament circuit. His best accomplishment to date is winning the Asia Pacific Poker Tour's Main Event in Sydney, Australia in 2010 for almost half a million Australian dollars.

Intro

Karamilikis has numerous cashes in Australia's local poker events such as Aussie Millions, Australia and New Zealand Poker Tour, Asia Pacific Poker Tour and others. Once Jonathan realized that he could make a living playing poker, he ditched his Accounting and Property studies for life at the felt. Jonathan built his bankroll through Freerolls as he learned his trade.

World Series of Poker

He finished in 446th place at the 2010 WSOP Main Event and took home $31,647 in cash. He came back to the World Series in 2011 for two more money finishes. First he placed 81st in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em - Triple Chance event and then took 275th position in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em tournament. He collected a total of $6,964 in that year's series.
