Biography

Blaz Zerjav is a Slovenian poker player who has earned millions of dollars in online poker earnings and two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets.

Zerjav is known for his online poker prowess. Under his famous "Scarmak3r" alias, Zerjav turned a $5.50 satellite into a $1,364,688 in the 2018 PartyPoker MILLIONS Online event. That massive bankroll injection and Zerjav's thirst for knowledge and success turned him into a dangerous foe.

Although predominantly an online poker grinder, Zerjav has over $2.8 million in live poker cashes. He finished second in the €1,100 FPS Paris Main Event in February 2024 for €294,530 and then won the €2,200 NLHE Deepstack at EPT Paris ten days later for €141,680.

Zerjav was the runner-up in the $5,300 NLHE Deepstack event at the 2024 WSOP Paradise, collecting $225,070.

At the 2025 WSOP, Zerjav won the $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed High Roller for $1,734,717, mounting an impressive comeback when heads-up against Chris Moorman.

Zerjav won his second bracelet in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better event a couple of weeks later, defeating Huck Seed heads-up.
