Choosing the Check-Raise: Extracting Full Value on the River

In this video, I share and discuss a hand from a $3,500 buy-in World Poker Tour event I recently played.

The hand comes relatively early in the tournament and in it I’m playing against a satellite qualifier, which often leads to interesting situations. We make it to the river at which point I elect to check-raise for value with a marginal two pair.
