It's hard to run short-stacked, but even worse when you can't double-up because no-one will call off your all-in move. Daniel Perez is in that unenviable position, right now, as with almost seven levels in the can, he only has half of his starting stack. His all-in move over Brigido Cucart's opening bet to 1,200 for a total of 13,000 got no callers and he must settle for another spot.
We are definitely at the stage where players need to make a move for the later levels on Day 1b.
Sergi Escote raised to 1,200 and picked up three callers including Zachary Metin and Younesse Oualgasi in the big blind. The flop fell and Escote continued for 2,200. Only Metin called and the turn saw another bet worth 3,000 by Escote. Metin called and faced a final bet worth 7,500 on the river.
On the four-way flop of , the action checked to Brent Parlee from under the gun and he bet 3,800. Isabel Baltazar and Fares Shehadeh in the big blind called and the appeared on the turn.
Shehadeh checked and Parlee shoved for his last 15,900. Baltazar checked Shehadeh's almost even stack and then moved all in, the Italian folded.

The river was a blank and Parlee doubled, while Michael Panovec walked over to Alexander Teufel to explain how he had busted.
Soon after coming back from the break, Giovanni Di Ceglie had a short stack at risk with and flipped against . The board came and Di Ceglie spiked both over cards to get up to six figures.
