Oualgasi Reads Soler Like a Book

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

A raising war broke out and the initial raise and call by Younesse Oualgasi was already pulled in. Daniel Soler then squeezed to 4,400 and it folded back to Oualgasi, who shoved for 29,375.

Soler was taken back and Oualgasi said "you have ace-king, right?" Soler eventually folded and showed {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}, and Oualgasi revealed his {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. "22,000 I would have called," Soler said in table chat.

Soler Power

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Daniel Soler has been chipping up steadily since getting off to a slow start in the first part of Day 1b. He has continued that uptick by winning the latest hand. Making it 1,000 to go pre-flop, Soler was called in four spots before the flop fell {4-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

Nobody betted, so after four checks on the flop and a {A-Spades} on the turn, Soler bet 1,200 and everyone folded. He showed the {7-Clubs} as he pulled in the chips.

Langrock is King

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Rozanna Ketting made it 850 from first position and was called only by Sebastian Langrock in late position.

The flop of {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{A-Hearts} saw Langrock bet 2,300 and Ketting called. The turn of {10-Spades} and river of {K-Hearts} saw both men check and when the hands were turned over, Ketting {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} was bettered by Langrock's {K-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Ketting slammed his hand down onto the table. "I knew it!" but Langrock's stack is the real winner, now three times bigger than Ketting's.

Shehadeh Jams Into Hernandez Ruiz

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Fares Shehadeh raised to 800 from under the gun and picked up three callers including Samuel Hernandez Ruiz and Dominik Maska in the big blind. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and the action checked to Hernandez Ruiz, who bet 1,800. Only Shehadeh and Maska called, and both checked again the {2-Spades} turn.

Hernandez Ruiz bet 5,400 and Maska folded, before Shehadeh check-raised all in for what looked like 17,000. The Spaniard folded and Shehadeh mucked his cards, then picked one of them up and flipped over the {K-Diamonds}.

Kurko Has Nuts

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Kimmo Kurko called Vesa Heino's bet of 1,000 on the flop of {10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. On the turn of {5-Diamonds}, Heino led for 2,000 and Kurko called again. The river of {3-Spades} led to a check from Heino, so Kurko bet 4,000 and got a call.

Kurko turned over {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and took it down, Heino's {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} no good.
