Josep Valls defeated Jose Criado heads-up to stand atop a 476-entry field in this event last year, taking home €61,550 after a four-way chop. Others to make deep runs included WPT champion Florens Feenstra and 2016 WSOP November Niner Fernando Pons. Vivian Saliba and Lucia Navarro flew the flag for the 888poker ambassadors as they managed to make it into the money.
