Docherty Shoves Into Hendry's Aces

Christopher Hendry and David Docherty built a pot of around 20,000 as they went heads-up to a 5♦5♣3♠ flop. Docherty then bet 6,000 from the big blind and Hendry called in early position.

Both players checked the 3♦ turn and saw the Q♥ fall on the river. Docherty then moved all in for 14,000.

"I'm worried you have queens," Hendry said as he snap-called, showing A♥A♦. Docherty could only show A♠K♠.

"I thought you had that. It was a nice check on the turn," Docherty said on his way to the exit.

Heads-up on a board of J♦4♦8♣J♣, William Henderson bet 2,500 from under the gun and Serghei Zglavoci called in middle position.

Henderson slowed down and checked the 7♠ river, and Zglavoci quickly checked back.

"Queen-high," Henderson said, turning over Q♥J♥. Zglavoci then showed A♣4♣ and went to take the pot with his two pair until Henderson pointed out he actually had trips.

"You bluffed him. It's a dangerous game you're playing," tablemate Kevin Frame joked with Henderson as the table, including Zglavoci, laughed off the incident.

Terence Jordon three-bet to 3,500 on the button and Majid Iqbal, playing the hand standing up from his seat, called in the cutoff.

The flop came K♣3♥J♣ and Jordon continued for 3,000. Iqbal then raised to 17,000 and Jordon called.

Iqbal only had around 1,000 left and put it in before the turn was revealed. "Got a flush draw, do you?" Jordon said as he called.

"Yes I do," Iqbal replied, revealing A♣3♣. Jordon had Q♠J♦ for a pair of jacks and held on through the 9♦ turn and 10♥ river to score the knockout.

"The only bad thing about that is I have to go downstairs then come back up here," Iqbal said as he went off to reenter.

"Do you want me to do it for you?" John Clements called over from another table.

Hunt Calls Down in Three-Way Pot

Thomas Hunt bet 1,500 from the cutoff on a flop of 7♣7♥5♣ before Ian Swan raised to 4,500 on the button. Kevin Frame called in middle position, as did Hunt.

All three players checked the 2♣ turn and the 6♠ fell on the river. Frame then led out for 3,000 and both opponents called.

Frame showed 9♠7♠ for trips, but Hunt turned over A♣8♣ for a flush as Swan mucked.

David Docherty fired another bullet and has already doubled his stacking stack, while Majid Iqbal also reentered and is at this table.

Andrew Hawksby three-bet to 2,200 in the hijack before Christopher Guertin came back with a four-bet to 5,500 in early position. Hawksby called and they went heads-up to the 6♠4♠5♣ flop.

Guertin continued for 2,000 and Hawksby called. Both players then checked the 4♥ turn.

The river was the 8♦ and Guertin fired out another 4,000. Hawksby folded this time and Guertin took the pot.
