With around 16,000 in the pot on a flop of 8♥J♦9♠, Gholamreza Mohammadi bet 8,000 from the hijack and Mariusz Czech raised to 20,000 on the button. Mohammadi then moved all in, and Czech snap-called for 38,000.
Mariusz Czech: 9♥9♦
Gholamreza Mohammadi: 10♣7♠
Czech had flopped a set of nines, but Mohammadi showed a straight and was poised for the knockout. Czech needed the board to pair to stay alive, but he missed the A♠ turn. The river, though, was the 8♣ and Czech improved to a full house to earn the double up.
"So f**king lucky, man," Mohammadi yelled out, throwing his cards across the table and letting out a few more expletives.
