With around 13,000 in the pot on a board of 810K9, Martin Byrne bet 7,000 from the button and Shi Dong called in the small blind.

The river was the 4 and Byrne bet 22,000, leaving only a few chips behind. Dong tanked for a minute, but he eventually gave up his hand this time and Byrne, who finished third in this event last year, took down the pot.

Robert Hislop limped in on the button before Michael Kane raised to 2,500 in the big blind. Hislop called to see the AA3 flop.

Kane continued for 1,200, but Hislop raised to 2,500. Kane called.

Both players checked the 7 turn. The 8 river was also checked down, and Hislop showed A4 for trips. "That wins," Kane said, expressing surprise that Hislop would check the river.

"I can only get called by better," Hislop explained.
