Dianaty Dominates Kanner

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Anthony Dianaty opened to 25,000 in early position and Efim Kanner three-bet shoved all in for 147,000 in the cutoff. The action came back to Dianaty who asked for a count and then thought for a couple of minutes, eventually making the call.

Anthony Dianaty: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Efim Kanner: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Dianaty had Kanner in a dominating position and the board of {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} changed nothing as Kanner was sent to the payout desk.

Negron Makes a Good Call

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with well over 200,000 in the middle already, Curtis King moved all in for 209,000 on a board reading {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}. Larry Negron went into the tank for over a minute before finally making the call.

King turned over {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a pair and straight draw while Negron revealed {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for an overpair. The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Negron held on to eliminate King from the competition.

Negron Sends Chen Packing

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Larry Negron limped from middle position only to have Jin Chen three-bet all in for around 75,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and Negron thought for a bit before making the call.

Chen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Negron: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

It was a flip but Chen needed to improve. The {5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop gave him a flush draw to go with his overs but he missed as the {5-Clubs} bricked the turn followed by the {2-Clubs} on the river.

Bovee Bows Out

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Barry Bovee
Barry Bovee

Curtis King was all in preflop for 140,000 and at risk against Barry Bovee.

Bovee: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
King: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Bovee was out in front and kept the lead on the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop. Unfortunately for him, the {10-Clubs} on the turn gave king a full house, and the {Q-Spades} river secured him the double.

Bovee was left with 9,000 after the hand, more than tripled it up, and then busted a short time later in 36th place for $446.

Koenner Picks the Wrong Fight

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Donald Brown has been running over his table in the past level, eliminating a couple of the short stacks since the money bubble burst. He started the hand as the overall chipleader and opened to 25,000 from under the gun. Efim Koenner three-bet to 75,000 from the hijack and the action folded back to Brown who called.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Brown led out for 125,000. Koenner thought for a minute but decided to toss his cards to the muck as Brown climbed over one million chips.

Oskarsson Hooks Himself a Karlins

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

We missed the elimination of Marv "Duckman" Karlins but learned after the fact that he got his stack all in preflop and was flipping against Leif Oskarsson.

Oskarsson: {8-}{8-}
Karlins: {a-}{q-}

Karlins need to improve but that didn't happen as the board ran out dry to send him out the door in 38th place for $405.

Gressia Lays One Down to a Fellow Big Stack

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Alexander Gressia raised it up to 19,000 from the cutoff and was called by Mike Taylor on the button and the big blind. The flop fell {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and the big blind checked to Gressia who continued for 40,000. Taylor called and the big blind folded.

The turn was the {q-Spades} and Gressia checked this time. Taylor threw in a bet of 50,000 and Gressia wasted little time before letting his cards go.

Nerron Takes Down Beatty

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Larry Nerron limped in from middle position and Cheri Beatty pushed all in for 59,000 from the big blind. Nerron asked for a count and then made the call to put Beatty at risk.

Larry Nerron: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Cheri Beatty: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

The flop of {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} gave Nerron the lead with a pair of tens. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn and the {j-Hearts} on the river did not improve Beatty as she hit the payout desk.
