Trio of Ladies Chop Up Event #3: $130 Monster Stack

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Today's Ante Up Poker Tour Main Event in the Silks Poker Room at Tampa Bay Downs is the culmination of a six-event series that's been taking place all week long.

On Tuesday, Event #3: $130 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack drew 47 entries, which meant there was a small overlay to the $4,559 generated prize pool. Only the top six players were supposed to get paid, but with seven left they all agreed to pay the bubble $130, which went to Joao Figueiredo.

In the end, the final three ladies worked an equal chop for $1,220 apiece.

Triple Up for Brown

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

A massive pot was lying in the middle of the table and Donald Brown was left with nothing else in front of him. The board read {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} but there was still action on a side pot with Gary Bradshaw and the button.

The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Bradshaw bet 10,000 which forced the button to fold. Bradshaw turned over {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for two pair but Brown flopped the nut flush with {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Brown scored a triple up to close in on 100,000 chips.

Andrade Eliminates Turow

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

We just arrived at the table and the cards from two players were already face up on the felt. Sean Turow was the player at risk and would need some help against Saul Andrade.

Saul Andrade: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Sean Turow: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} which left Andrade in the lead with his pair of jacks. The {j-Clubs} on the turn improved him to a full house and Turow was drawing dead to the {5-Spades} on the river.

Two Pair for Rossi

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

There was a raise to 1,000 from middle position and Michael Rossi called from the cutoff along with Dan Johnson in the small blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and the action checked to Rossi who bet 2,500. Johnson called while the player in middle position folded.

The turn brought the {5-Clubs} and both players checked to the {q-Diamonds} on the river. Johnson checked one more time and Rossi bet 3,500. Johnson quickly called and Rossi tabled {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for top two pair to scoop the pot.
