Shortly after returning from the break, a big hand occurred on the table directly in front of the PokerNews Media desk. Tobin Ryall opened the pot with a min-raise, before Benjamin Benoit three-bet shoved his entire stack. Ryall instantly called the 72,000 chip bet and the cards were tabled.

The board ran out to see Benoit out flop Ryall. With all the chips counted out, Ryall was left with 5,600 in chips, as Benoit doubled to 150,000.
The hand started with Jean Pierre Besancon opening to 4,300 before being met with an instant raise to 10,000 from Michael Fadersen in the cut off. Their opponent in the big blind then announced all in and pushed out his remaining 31,100 in chips. Besancon folded immediately, leaving Fadersen with a decision. He ended up calling and the cards were tabled.

We rushed over to see a massive pot being shipped away from Patrick Healy, to his opponent. The board was and all the money went in on the flop. Healy held and his opponent had . Healy was unable to hit his flush, as running jacks guaranteed the pot to his opponent.
With only 2,600 in chips left after the hand, it only took one more hand for Healy to be eliminated from the tournament.
With just under 30,000 in the pot and the flop reading ,Gary Benson checked from the big blind, as Rasmus Buer threw out a 10,000 chip bet. Benson snap called to see the come on the turn. Benson again check called a bet, this time for 18,000. The fell on the river and Benson checked before Buer swiftly placed out 26,700 in chips. Benson went into the tank for a few minutes before finally releasing his hand.
After starting the day second in chips, Benson has dropped down to 100,000. Buer is on the move up, as he now sits behind a 300,000 chip mountain.
Paul Wilson got the remainder of his chips in preflop holding and found a caller holding . The board ran out to see him eliminated from the tournament.
With the flop reading , Amanda De Cesare was facing a bet of 8,500 from Benjamin Zhang. She called, and both players saw the come on the turn. She checked, as Zhang led out 19,800 in chips. She then moved all in for 39,900 and was called shortly after.
