Here are the approximate stacks of some of the players in the tournament area near the bar during this third level of the day. As you can see, Jackie Glazier has had a productive day at the felt so far.

We have just received word that Kiwi [Removed:17] has been eliminated from the tournament! Apparently he was short stacked and all in preflop holding ![]()
against ![]()
. No help and it was all over. Check out what Yan tweeted before the day. Long way to come to only play a couple of levels of poker! At least home isn't too far from melbourne.

The players have been sent on their first 10-minute break of Day 1b.
Registration is still open until the end of the next break after this one!
Here are the approximate stacks of some of the players during the early stages of Day 1b.
Nam Le has posted six figures of tournament results here in the Crown Poker Room alone and he is here in the ANZPT Melbourne field trying to add some cash to that resume. We recently watched Le take down a healthy pot on a ![]()

board. We had arrived at the action on the turn, with Le betting 1,8000 from the small blind position. Le's opponent was on the button and made the call. On the river, Le bet 2,000 and after plenty of thought, a call was made. At showdown, Le tabled ![]()
, which was enough to send his opponent's cards into the muck.
It's no suprise that we keep noticing more players as the Day 1b field size grows. Some of those we have noticed recentlly include 2011 ANZPT Sydney champion Michael Kanaan, 2014 ANZPT Sydney 4th place finisher Jazz Mathers, recent ANZPT Melbourne side event winners Bec Catterwell and Tam Truong, along with 2013 Aussie Millions runner-up Joe Cabret.
Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang started the day seated directly next to the talkative Daniel Levy and told us that Levy said to him that he was going to cooler him today. That didn't happen. Instead, Levy got coolered himself.
We didn't see the hand, but Levy told us that held ![]()
and flopped a straight on a ![]()

flop. He eventually got all his chips in against one opponent on a
river, with a
having been dealt on the turn. Levy's opponent held ![]()
for rivered full house and that was that as it was all over for Levy.
