Scott Buchanan was in early position when he opened it up to 6,000. Paul Murray then three-bet to 16,000 and Luke Spano four-bet to 31,000 from the big blind. Buchanan got his stack of around 50,000 in the middle, Murrary jammed for more than 100,000 and Spano made the call, having both players well covered.

However, the ![]()

There was a big commotion over on Table 17 recently. We quickly made out way over to find a massive three-way all in situation. Brian Mcallister was all in for more than 100,000 with Patrick Mahoney having a big stack and having both Mcallister and the other all in player, Tu Le, at risk.

With that, Mcallister gave a bit of a fist pump and scooped the triple.
Despite losing this hand, Mahoney is still one of the chip leaders, while Le was eliminated.

Scott Buchanan, originally from Stirling, Scotland, recently got pretty unlucky against Vesko Zmukic.
It was just shortly after Zmukic was left crippled in the hand that you can read about below that the Perth local would move all in holding ![]()
and have to come up against Buchanan's ![]()
. The board ran out good for Zmukic as a nine would secure a double up. Buchanan still has around 50,000 in chips.
