Break Over, Back To It

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The players are back from their first break of Day 3 and are ready to continue trying to make the final table. Before we get there though, we are still several players off making the top 27 money-paying positions. Stay tuned!

Murray On the Winning End of Three-Way All In

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Scott Buchanan was in early position when he opened it up to 6,000. Paul Murray then three-bet to 16,000 and Luke Spano four-bet to 31,000 from the big blind. Buchanan got his stack of around 50,000 in the middle, Murrary jammed for more than 100,000 and Spano made the call, having both players well covered.

Buchanan: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Murrary: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Spano: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Spano had the kings and a big chance to eliminate two players and move his stack towards 500,000.

However, the {j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} board gave Murray the goods to move up to 350,000. Buchanan was eliminated, while Spano is down to 95,000.

Big Three-Way Win for Mcallister

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

There was a big commotion over on Table 17 recently. We quickly made out way over to find a massive three-way all in situation. Brian Mcallister was all in for more than 100,000 with Patrick Mahoney having a big stack and having both Mcallister and the other all in player, Tu Le, at risk.

Mcallister: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Mahoney: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Le: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Mcallister was up out of his seat, excitement on his face, as the dealer spread out a {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} board.

With that, Mcallister gave a bit of a fist pump and scooped the triple.

Despite losing this hand, Mahoney is still one of the chip leaders, while Le was eliminated.

Early Chips for Rickwaa

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ricky Kroesen has chipped up during the early stages of Day 3. We recently saw Kroesen betting 8,200 from the big blind on the turn on a board of {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Brian McAllister called on the button and Patrick Mahoney came along in the small blind.

The river was a bricky {3-Clubs} and the three players checked it around. Kroesen opened {A-Spades}{8-Clubs} for top pair which pipped McAllister’s {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, while Mahoney was happy to not see a third diamond as he flashed {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Vesko's Luck is Unlucky for Buchanan

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Scott Buchanan, originally from Stirling, Scotland, recently got pretty unlucky against Vesko Zmukic.

It was just shortly after Zmukic was left crippled in the hand that you can read about below that the Perth local would move all in holding {k-}{9-} and have to come up against Buchanan's {K-}{10-}. The board ran out good for Zmukic as a nine would secure a double up. Buchanan still has around 50,000 in chips.
