Adrian Attenborough raised from middle position to 4,800 and picked up three callers including Oliver Gill on the button. The flop landed and actioned checked to Gill who bet 9,000. Both blinds folded but Attenborough made the call to see the hit the turn.
Attenborough checked and Gill pulled the hoodie over his head before checking behind. The river was the and Attenborough checked for a third time. Gill gave it some thought before tossing 15,000 into the middle. That was good to take it down and move up to a healthy 165,000 chips.
2011 Aussie Millions champ David Gorr is the latest casualty from the ANZPT Sydney Main Event. He was spotted on the rail and kindly recalled to us that his last chips went into the middle with pocket kings against ace-king. An ace on the flop was enough to end Gorr’s tournament prematurely.
Martin Kozlov has just taken a small pot off Adrian Attenborough.
The action folded around to Attenborough in the small blind and he limped in. Martin Kozlov then raised it up to 7,000 from the big blind and after checking what Kozlov had behind (around 55,000 more), Attenborough made the call.
The flop saw both players check, while the turn would see Kozlov bet 15,000 when Attenborough checked. Attenborough opted to fold and the small pot went to Kozlov.
Attenborough started the day as one of the chip leaders, but with a bad seat on the right off both Kozlov and Oliver Gill, has fallen down the leader board.
