Welcome to Macau for Another APPT!

The 2011 PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour has made its way to the beautiful Grand Lisboa Hotel and Casino for the premier poker stop in Asia.

Last year saw 341 players take to the felt in the 2010 APPT Macau Main Event and by all reports, this year is set to be even bigger as a procession of the best poker players from all around the world file into the glamorous Grand Lisboa.

It was Victorino Torres who took down the glory in last year's event and the huge HKD 3,246,200 to go along with it. The buy-in was a little higher in that event, but it is looking like the 500-player cap is set to be met as extra tables are set up in the tournament area.

Play will be kicking off in just a short while at 12:10 p.m. local time and PokerNews will be on the floor providing all the action form the first of two Day 1 flights!
