The first player to go home with a cash prize for their time has just been eliminated, with Matt Yates the player to deal the fatal blow to local boy, Cole Swannack.
The action was folded around to Cole Swannack on the button and he raised it up to 8,600. The play was then on Matt Yates in the big blind and he promptly three-bet to 19,600. Swannack then moved all-in for 105,000 and wasn't looking too good when Yates snap-called.
Swannack would need a whole lot of help with his going up against the .
The flop would be dealt with a bit of a sweat that would continue on the turn. The on the river would end any sweat for Swannack as he was sent to the exit in 15th place, collecting NZD$6,000 for his effort.
The players are back to it at the 2011 APPT Queenstown Main Event. With the money bubble breaking just prior to the break, it will be interesting to see how quick we make it to the final table.
The bubble has to go to one player and unfortunately for PokerStars Qualifier Artur Prokhorov, it would be him!
The action started when Hugh Cohen opened to 6,500 from the cutoff seat, whereby Prokhorov moved all-in for his remaining 10,400 chips from the big blind. With the decision back on Cohen, he made the call and the two players turned over their hands.

Prokhorov would watch as the devastating was dealt on the board and he would be sent home empty habded after three days of tough play.
Charles Caris has just managed to avoid going home with the much loathed title of bubble-boy, with an all-in survival seeing him double his stack to sit much healthier.
Caris was under the gun when he put his tournament life on the line and it was Ben Paurini who would be the only player on the table to make the call.

Caris was looking good to survive and when the board ran out the pot was sent Caris' way.
