George Bites the Dust

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

A short-stacked George Giannopoulos has been bundled to the rail after shoving his last 90,000 or so with {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}, only to run into the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} of Matt Rolfe.

The board ran out {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} to leave Giannopoulos on the rail as Rolfe gets his head above water with a stack of about 225,000.

Fadersen Sets Caltieri Straight

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Fadersen opened to 16,000 from late position before Matthew Caltieri raised it up to 30,000 from his immediate left. Fadersen made the call as both players saw the flop come down {4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Fadersen checked his option before Caltieri slid out 45,000. Fadersen then instantly bet out 115,000 in chips which had his opponent covered. Caltieri didn’t look too thrilled with the shove but eventually made the call as both players tabled their cards.

Caltieri: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Fadersen: {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

A dream flop for Fadersen who made a straight and was also drawing to a flush. Caltieri turned a meaningless {q-Hearts} and was sent to the rail when the {j-Spades} completed the board.

Walker Another Quick Addition to the Rail

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Bradley Walker opened with a raise to 16,000 from the cutoff and Martin Kozlov called on the button before Billy "The Croc" Argyros three-bet to 60,000 in the big blind. Walker quickly moved all in to force Kozlov out of the way as Crocky asked for a count.

It was a total of 270,500 and Agyros made the call with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} to be in good shape against Walker's {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

The board was spread {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} to see a shell-shocked Walker depart as Argyros moves up to a very strong 800,000 chips.

Down to 25 players as Gray starts moving up the chip leader board.
