Rathi Gets Involved

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Just the hand before, Shashank Rathi called a bet of 50,000 by the player in the big blind on a {K-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Spades} turn. The {8-Hearts} river was checked and Rathi quickly checked behind to flip over {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. This ended up being the winner because his opponent held pocket fives.

Straight after, Rathi opened to 13,000 and called a three-bet to 41,000 only to check-fold a {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} flop to a continuation bet.

Trapped in a Deja Vu

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Asa Smith opened to 13,000 and was called by the player from one seat over before a short stack pushed all in for 65,000. Smith reshoved with {A-}{K-} and got the cold-caller out of the way to face the {A-}{J-} of the short stack. Again. Exactly like in the last level.

And again, the {9-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop immediately gave the Brit top pair. There was no queen or other miracle anymore and the chips went to Smith.

Lo Almost Finds a Fold

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Sing Fung "Rono" Lo was among the three callers after a raise by Jack Hu and the {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop was checked around. On the {5-Diamonds} turn, Lo bet out of the small blind and was called by the player on the button only to see the {J-Diamonds} on the river. The next bet by Lo was answered by the shove of his opponent for what looked like 100,000 and Lo was tanking.

He held up the cards, almost visible for the players in seat 1 and 3, tanking for a good two minutes. A frustrated call followed with the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and sure enough the player on the button showed {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the nut flush. Lo nodded and fell back to just under half a million in chips.

It Was Suited

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Yaxi Zhu raised to 13,000 and Chane Kampanatsanyakorn moved all in for 92,000 out of the blinds. Zhu gave it a lot of consideration but elected to fold and was shown the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

Aaron Lim also shoved from one table over but there was no call either.

Feng Gets Stacked

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The very same player that just busted Seng Yee Leow sent over his entire stack to Xuefeng Feng. He flopped two pair on a flop of {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and kept betting the {2-Clubs} turn as well before the {A-Hearts} appeared on the river. Feng responded to the third barrel by going all in with {K-Clubs}{5-Clubs} with the second nut flush and the opponent called with {6-Spades}{8-Spades} for two pair.

Zhu Gets Another Pot

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After a limp, Yaxi Zhu raised to 11,000 and the limper called to see a flop of {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. The opponent of the Chinese led for 24,000 and was called before checking the {9-Hearts} on the turn. Zhu took the opportunity to bet 30,000 and that got through uncalled to send the chips over to the Chinese.
