Sing Busts to Smith

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Simon Sing open-shoved for what looked like 60,000 from the cutoff and the action reached Asa Smith in the big blind, who peeked at his cards and made the call with {K-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. Sing was behind with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and drawing to a split pot only after the {4-Clubs}{K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} turn. The {9-Diamonds} river was a blank and Smith grabbed the pot.

Randy "nanonoko" has also made a nice comeback after falling to as low as 22,000 chips earlier on and didn't take any rebuy. He made it all the way up to 300,000 now and PokerStars Team Pro Celina Lin is sitting next to the American.

Leow Done in Two Hands

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Seng Yee Leow lost all but his last 2,000 chips in a preflop all in situation with {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} against {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} after the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The very next hand there was a raise by the player from under the gun and Leow got the rest of it in from middle position, the player in the big blind also called.

On a flop of {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{Q-Hearts}, the preflop aggressor's continuation bet worked for a successful isolation with the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Leow had quite some outs with {5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} but failed to improve on {3-Spades} turn and {Q-Clubs} river.

To Call Or Not to Call

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

The action folded to the player in the small blind and he open-shoved for 58,500. Aaron Lim was sitting in the big blind and gave it some thought, checked his stack and made the call.

Opponent: {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Lim: {A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and the very last community card ensured a split pot.

How to Play a Big Stack

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After a limp and a raise by Tore Lukashaugen to 11,500, the action reached Jack Hu in the small blind and he squeezed a pretty large three-bet to 43,000. That did the trick though, as all his opponents tossed their cards into the muck. It wasn't the first time that Hu kept putting pressure on his table-mates, in fact the Chinese is getting very much used to it.

Top Pair for Wong

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Nick Wong raised to 8,000 from the cutoff and called a three-bet to 18,500 by Simon Sing in the small blind. On the {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop, Sing continued for 22,500 and was called before firing a second barrel worth 45,000 on the {K-Hearts} turn. Again Wong called and the {5-Clubs} on the river was quickly checked behind by Wong.

Sing flipped over {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and Wong had that beat with {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Sing Busts Higgs

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Simon Sing raised to 6,000 from under the gun at the very end of the last level and Sam Huggs three-bet to 20,000 out of the button. Sing called to see a {6-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Spades} flop and Higgs shoved for his last 50,500 with the {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Sing tanked for a long time and called with pocket eights (no spade) to get there with a seven on the river.

Lin Takes Down the Pot

Level 8 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

The action was checked back to Zhu and she made a continuation bet of 16,000. Celina Lin now check-raised to 40,000 out of the small blind and that won the pot.

Lo Takes One Down

Level 8 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Rono Lo was the preflop aggressor from early position and picked up three callers to see a four-way turn of {J-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Yaxi Zhu led for 10,000 and was called by the player from one seat over before Lo min-raised to 20,000. The player on the button called whereas Zhu and the fourth player in the hand mucked their cards.

Lo then bet the {2-Spades} river for 25,000 and won the pot without showdown.
