Kampanatsanyakorn Lays Down His House

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} both players in the blinds checked their options. Chane Kampanatsanyakorn was the third player in the hand and bet out 450 from the hijack. Only the player in the small blind called before both players watched the {10-Clubs} drop on the turn.

Another check then saw Kampanatsanyakorn bet out 1,500 which was quickly called before the {a-Spades} completed the board.

The player in the small blind then reached for his chips and casually threw in 2,000. Kampanatsanyakorn was not impressed as he sat back in his chair, before eventually mucking his hand, exposing the {10-Hearts} as he did so.

Kampanatsanyakorn drops down to 24,200 following the hand.

Lee Cruising

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

The hand started with the player under the gun raising to 700 before Alex Lee bumped it up to 1,925 from the hijack.

“It’s a standard move for you now,” joked another player not involved in the hand, referring to Lee’s recent trend of aggressiveness.

The decision fell back on the original raiser who made the call. Both players then watched the flop come down {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Lee’s opponent checked his option giving him the chance to throw out a continuation bet totalling 2,300.

It was enough to take down the pot as Lee’s opponent quickly mucked his hand.

Lee races up to 74,000 in chips.

Higgs Versus Lee

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

With a board of {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} Daniel Lee bet out 2,800 from middle position. Sam Higgs made the call from the button and both watched the {7-Diamonds} complete the river.

Lee checked his option prompting Higgs to bet out 6,825 in chips. Lee thought about his decision for over a minute before finally making the call.

Higgs then tabled his {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a flush, much to the disapproval of Lee, who angrily tossed his cards into the muck.

A great comeback for Higgs who now has 38,000 in chips following the hand. Lee drops down to 5,125.

Whoops!

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

We arrived at the table just as the player in the cut off raised it up to 650. The decision then fell on Tom Alner in the big blind, who cut out some chips, and threw out a raise to 5,850.

The large bet caught his opponent off guard, who almost instantly mucked his hand.

"I was meant to throw in this chip," said Alner, referring to a blue 1,000-chip.

"The bet was meant to be 1,850," he joked, as he raked in the small pot.

Alner moves back up to over starting stack following the hand.

Higgs Dropping

Level 3 : 150/300, 0 ante

Sam Higgs called from middle position as did the two players in the blinds.

The flop came down {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and the small blind led out for 500. The bet was enough to take down the pot as both the player in the big blind as well as Higgs got out of the way.

Higgs has dropped down to 7,950 in chips.

Also on the table is fellow Australian pro Billy "the Croc" Argyros. He is sitting on 16,200 in chips.
