Alan Lau
Alan Lau

Alan Lau was all-in and at risk from the cutoff as he was called by Bell John Perez in late position who had him covered.

Alan Lau: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Bell John Perez: {A-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Clubs} to give Perez top pair and Lau a straight draw.

The turn brought them the {9-Clubs}, Lau still needed a jack to double up but a club would split the pot.

The river completed the board with the {10-Diamonds} which wasn't any of the outs Lau needed to survive and he was sent to the rail to take another shot tomorrow on Day 1b.

The board ran out {9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for Pan's pocket fours to hold and double up leaving Sushant with about 21,000.

Their table got broken up shortly after and Sushant managed to build his stack up to about 35,000 again. Then his table got broken up again and even though he managed to build all the way up to around 50,000, he then lost it all when he ran his {a-}{q-Clubs} into the {a-}{k-} of his opponent.
