Goh Puts a Brake on Wang

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Qi Wang started in the best possible way today, by eliminating three players in one hand and skyrocketing his stack up to 100,000 chips.

In one of his last hands he gave some back, when he bluffed the river on a {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Spades} board. Gabriel Goh was his opponent and he called a river bet for 7,500.

Wang instantly mucked his hand, and Goh didn't even have to show to win the pot.

Corbin White
Corbin White

Corbin White just lost all of his chips in a preflop all in, in the classic race of Texas Hold'em. He had around 10,000 chips left, and he put them in the middle with {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}, only to get called by his opponent's {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs}, and Corbin White left his seat.

Aces for Aquino

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

On a {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop a player check-called 1,800 from Raul Aquino. He checked the {k-Diamonds} turn to Aquino who bet 4,000.

The player then check-raised to 11,000 and Aquino wasted no time moving all in. His opponent folded and Aquino turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and took down the pot.

Talamayan Folds a Big Hand

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

At least this is what he said in a hand versus Alexis Lim. Joseph Talamayan bet 500 on a flop showing {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} and Lim check-called.

The {3-Clubs} fell on the turn, and Talamayan bet 1,500 this time, after his opponent's check, who raised this time to 3,500. Talamayan looked like he had a tough decision to make, and he thought about it for almost 3 minutes before another player on the table called the clock.

The floor manager started counting and Talamayan asked his opponent if he has a set. He didn't get a response, and folded his hand saying that he had aces. He only showed the {a-Spades} though.
