Mai Flips To a Big Stack

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

According to Selim Souissi, Bien Mai vaulted to a big stack when a preflop raising war saw him jam all-in with ace-king. An opponent from China called it off for around 60,000 with pocket eights and the overcards came out on top. Mai's healthy stack puts him in the current top five as the end of the late registration is looming.

Munot Still Leads the Way

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Dylan Foster was spotted on his way to the rail and the remainder of his stack was sent over to table captain Ashish Munot. It was a flip of sorts that spelled the end for Foster, who put his hopes on 88.

Munot's J9 got there on the Q93A10 board and the rich got richer, as the tower of chips in front of the Indian poker pro grew further.

Pak's Demise Vaults Munot to the Top

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

According to several players at the table, Valeriy Pak called down hefty bets by Ashish Munot and couldn't get there with pocket nines as Munot's kings came out on top. That sent the latter to nearly seven times the starting stacks while Pak was spotted at the registration desk during the previous break.
