Aayush Arya was ahead when he got a short stack in with the A♣10♦ as table big stack Koen Breed was trailing with the A♦9♣. However, the A♥J♣9♦ flop improved Breed and he never looked back when two blanks followed on turn and river.
Following a raise to 2,000, two players called with the big blind coming along out of turn. Eric Ceret then called in the small blind and the big blind's call stood. The K♠Q♥8♠ flop was checked to the big blind, who bet 5,000. Enzo Vellucci then pushed all-in for 31,800 and all players folded.
Three ways to the Q♥10♠9♣ flop, Anthony Cierco in the cutoff called a bet worth 1,500 by a player in early position while Vincent Chauve in the blinds check-folded. It checked to Cierco on the 10♣ turn and his bet of 6,200 took down the pot uncontested.
While the hand played out, Charlie Chiu joked "welcome back" to Jianming Luo who sat back down in the four seat with a fresh stack.
According to several players at the table, Valeriy Pak called down hefty bets by Ashish Munot and couldn't get there with pocket nines as Munot's kings came out on top. That sent the latter to nearly seven times the starting stacks while Pak was spotted at the registration desk during the previous break.
