Huang Doubles Right Away

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a recently opened table, a raising war broke out. Qiyuan Huang had three-bet to 3,000 only for his opponent to make it 12,000 to go. Huang jammed for 29,000 and was called instantly to roll over the KK.

"Oh man," the other player in the hand sighed and rolled over his QQ for the slightly inferior pocket pair.

There was no upset on the 98326 board as Huang jumped to a decent start.

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a completed board of Q65710, Mauricio Salazar Sanchez bet 12,000 out of the big blind. That sent Nang Quang Nguyen deep into the tank and he eventually flicked in calling chips on the button. Salazar Sanchez turned over the KQ for the king-high flush and won a decent pot.

Foster Chips Up Right Away

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Aussie Dylan Foster is making his usual friends at the table with a very jovial manner and started singing, after which he declared to have lost all of the money he made by singing at the poker tables.

The start into Day 1b was successful when he bet a heads-up river of J93103 for 10,000 and forced a fold.

Puchalski Back in the Mix

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Zizhing Huang raised from the button for Alexander Puchalski to call. On a flop of 1052, Puchalski check-called for 900 as the J followed on the turn. The defending champion checked again and Huang bet another 3,000 to win the pot uncontested this time.

Ghosh From Hero to Zero

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Ashish Ghosh had doubled in the opening stages of Day 1b but hasn't made it to the end of level three.

He just lost a big pot with A8 against the AQ of Yan Chee Yong when the A98 flop got the chips in. The 9 turn counterfeited the two pair of Ghosh, and the J river didn't change anything.

Yong doubled for 31,600 to leave Ghosh with some 18,000 but those chips vanished soon after.
