Rain Khan Eliminated in 33rd Position

Team PokerStars Pro Hevad "Rain" Khan has just been eliminated from the tournament in 33rd place. Here's how the hand went down:

Joe Hachem limped in on the button and Khan moved all in from the small blind. Mika Hallstrom then insta-called from the big blind prompting Hachem to get out of the way. At the showdown, the players revealed:

Khan: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Hallstrom: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}

Khan, unable to run down Hallstrom's kings, was eliminated in 33rd place, good for $3,238 in prize money.

Sheldon Mayer -- 39th Place

Sheldon Mayer has just been eliminated from the tournament in 39th place, after a couple of back-to-back hands knocked him down and then out.

The first hand saw Mayer move all in from under the gun holding {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Liz Lieu made the call for the rest of her chips (17,000), tabling pocket tens. The board panned out {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Lieu doubled up to 34,000, leaving Mayer with just 18,000 in chips.

On the very next hand, Mayer moved all in over the top of a 10,000 preflop raise made by Taesin Si for an extra 7,500. Si made the call and turned over {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}; Sheldon showed {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Mayer would need a ten to survive, but none came as the board filled out {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{8-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Sheldon took home $3,238 for his 39th-place finish.
