It allows the players the flexibility to start with a double stack of 6,000 or alternatively play aggressive early in the knowledge that they have a second chance up their sleeve if they bust out before the end of Level Three.
Three additional tables were added in the high-limit section of the room and they've attracted some very tough table draws.
Ali Khalil, Manny Rodrigues, George Cotaidis, Lee Nelson, and Roy Bhasin have all found themselves on the same table.
While it doesn't get any easier next door as Sean Dunwoodie, Julian Powell, Mitchell Carle, Josh Field, Tim Marsters, and Craig Bergeron won't have too many easy pots on their table.
Sam Youssef was also overheard to convey his displeasure as drawing the same table as Michael "Sticky" Guttman and David Morton.

It's time for the $1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha event, and with PLO growing in popularity in recent years and a budget buy-in we should get a nice turnout. However there are only about nine spare tables in the room at the moment, which indicates that there may be a cap put on the size of the field at around the 90-player mark.
The action kicks off at 4:30 p.m. which is in about 15 minutes' time. As this is a one-day event, we could be in for a long evening ahead. Stay tuned to PokerNews for all of the PLO excitement!
