Lysemose Emerges

Over the last level, Jacob Lysemose has been getting very aggressive on the outer tables. Most recently after have a raise from Ali Khalil and a reraise by Jonathan Dull, he made it a further 9,900 from the small blind and only Dull made the call.

Both players checked the flop of {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and when the turn of the {7-Diamonds} fell, Dull led out for 12,000 and Lysemose made it 31,000 forcing Dull to fold.

As Dull slips to 70,000, Lysemose climbs to a tad over 72,000 in chips.

Player Profile: Paul Ravesi

Will Paul Ravesi take home the AU$130,021?
Will Paul Ravesi take home the AU$130,021?
So who is Paul Ravesi some or you may be asking? Well currently, he is one of our chip leader's with 135,000 in chips as we head to break in Event #14; but there is a
lot more to him.

Ravesi is from South Australia, particularly Adelaide. He has been around poker for what could be said forever and consequently was the captain for the South Australian State of Origin during the recent Victorian Poker Championships.

On an individual level, Ravesi has achieved success both here at the Aussie Millions and on a more nationwide front. He has over $50,000 in tournament cashes including his victory in the No Limit Hold'em National Poker Championship way back before the big poker room.

Skills developed from years in the cardrooms, an aggressive style and a chip stack to go along with it, put Ravesi in a great spot to have a deep run at the AU$130,000 first place, title of Event #14 and winner of the coveted Gold Ring.

Only time will tell for Ravesi, who is placed under the spotlights of the feature table . . .

Obst Kicking Goals

Facing a limper in the cutoff James 'Andy McLEOD' Obst made it 5,000 to go from the big blind. His opponent then moved all in and Obst made the call.

Obst: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Opponent: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} to see Obst eliminate another and move up to 157,000 in chips.

Laak Doubles

On a board reading {4-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}, and with around 19,000 in the middle, Phil Laak moved all in against his opponent putting him to a huge decision.

After tanking for a few minutes, his opponent folded with Laak gaining a near double up to over 42,000 in chips.

Chipped Up Feature Table

With the recent elimination of Ryan Hurst from the feature table we have a totally new line-up that is indeed very 'stacked'.

Sam Higgs (22,000), Graeme Putt (70,000), Jason Mednis (45,000) and Paul Ravesi (135,000) are playing aggressive and throwing their weight in chips around.

With Ravesi's stack, it may just be his fight to win. Stay tuned to PokerNews as the action unfolds!
