Hurst makes his exit
Hurst makes his exit
Ryan Hurst opened to 1,500 and was met with a reraise by Jason Mednis to 4,500 only to be met with the all in shove from Hurst for 8,575 more.

Mednis sat in the tank before making the call tabling {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} to be in a race against Hurst's {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. The board blanked out, apart from a small sweat on the turn, when it fell {2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} to see Hurst depart as Mednis increased his stack to 66,000 and some change.

Ravesi Straightens Behling

Paul Ravesi has taken some chips off Nico Behling to rocket him over the 100,000-chip mark.

Catching the action on the river with the board reading {8-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} Behling led out for 6,000 and was min-raised by Ravesi to 12,000. Behling made the call only to muck when he saw Ravesi's {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades} for the nuts.

Ravesi soars to 110,000 as Behling slips down to 20,000 in chips.

Nickaka Chips Up

Not to be confused with Iraqi Nick Kaselias, Nick 'nickaka' Kakalis has found a near double on one of the outer tables.

Four players limped in to see a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Kakalis led out for 2,750 and only the button made the call. Both players checked the turn of the {9-Clubs} and when the river fell the {Q-Clubs} Kakalis checked over to his opponent who made it 2,500.

Kakalis sat in the tank for several minutes before eventually making the call only to have his opponent muck his hand. Kakalis raked in the pot to send him to over 32,000 in chips and kindly flashed his {J-Clubs}{8-Spades} to the table.

Goonawardana Gets There

Just a flush for Marlon
Just a flush for Marlon
Nali 'Iraqi Nick' Kaselias opened to 800 from the cutoff and was called by Andrew Demetriou and Marlon Goonawardana.

The flop fell {4-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and it was checked round to Kaselias who made it 1,200. Demetriou called before Goonawardana moved all in for 13,400. Kaselias went into the tank before making the call only to be met with another all in reraise; this time from Demetriou.

Kaselias went off in a rant before mucking his cards to see Demetriou had flopped a set holding {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} while Goonawardana held {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a flush-draw.

The {6-Diamonds} put Goonawardana in the lead, and with no repeat coming from the {9-Clubs} on the river he trippled to 36,000 as Demetriou slipped to 24,000 in chips.

Laak

Double down Mr. Laak?
Double down Mr. Laak?
Phil Laak opened to 1,325 from the cutoff and Nico Behling defended out of the big blind.

The flop fell down {4-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Behling check-called a 2,275 bet from Laak. Both players checked the {Q-Clubs} on the turn and when the {8-Spades} Behling again passed. Laak sat under his trademark hoodie, before eventually talking himself into checking also.

Behling tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, but was rivered by Laak holding {8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Behling shook his head and announced, "Nice hand sir" as Laak moved up to 46,200 while Behling slipped to 21,000 in chips.

DYnaSTyZz Disaster

Tran wishing dinner break was still going
Tran wishing dinner break was still going
Trung 'DYnaSTyZz' Tran has had a run of bad luck after returning from the break. He doubled a short stack up to leave him with only 15,000. Then, he lost a race, to see him left with only a single grey 1000-chip.

He then it got it in blind next hand, and mucked on the river when shown the winning hand.

Putt slaps Hurst with a heavy book!
Catching the action on the turn with the board reading {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} Graeme Putt led into Ryan Hurst with a 6,500-chip bet.

Hurst ummed and ahhed for several minutes before making the call and when the {9-Spades} fell on the river Putt moved all in for 29,275. Hurst tanked for several minutes yet again before making the call only to see Putt roll over {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

Hurst mucked as Putt scooped a pot doubling him to 72,000 in chips as Hurst is left crippled with only 9,000 in chips
