Billy Seri and Anton Ostoja hit the rail
Billy Seri and Anton Ostoja hit the rail
Billy Seri and his partner Anton Ostoja have been eliminated by Andrew Kanardis. Seri shoved preflop from the cutoff for his last 10,600 and was called by Kanardis in the small blind.

Seri {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Kanardis {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The flop of {A-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} gave Seri a commanding lead in the hand, the turn {2-Spades} leaving Kanardis drawing to two outs on the river.

One of those two outs just happened to appear, the {5-Clubs} giving Kanardis and Campbell the hand and sending Seri and Ostoja to the rail.

Kanardis and Campbell move up to 74,000.

Burgess/Khot Eliminated by Srour

Renee Khot and her teams event partner Craig Burgess are out

Elias Srour is responsible for the elimination of Craig Burgess and Renee Khot from the Teams Event.

Srour raised preflop and Khot moved over the top for her final 8,200 chips. Srour made a commited call and tabled {j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. He would have some catching up to do against the {k-Spades}{10-Hearts} of Khot.

The flop {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} was all clear for Khot. The turn left her in bad shape with a {j-Clubs} hitting. The {2-Clubs} hit the river, no help for Khot.

Khot and Burgess are out, Sukkar and Srour move up to 60,000.

Team Pongrass Eliminated by Vandersluis/Demetriou

Roy Vandersluis - Pongrass slayer

Tom and Matt Pongrass have been eliminated by Roy Vandersluis. A super short Pongrass shoved all in with {6-Diamonds}{q-Spades} on a flop of {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Vandersluis made the call holding {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

The board bricked out {3-Clubs}{a-Spades} sending both Pongrass' to the rail.

Vandersluis/Demetriou move up to 46,000.

Ostoja/Seri Doubles through Noja/Alexander

Billy Seri and Anton Ostoja are back in business
Billy Seri and Anton Ostoja are back in business
A player in middle position opened to 4,500, which Richard Alexander holding {K-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} smooth called before Billy Seri holding {A-Spades}{q-Spades} shoved all in for around 7,000 chips. The middle position player got out of the way and Alexander made the call.

The board ran out {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} to put the Ostoja/Seri team back in the tournament at 17,600. Noja and Alexander drop to 34,600.
