Action folded back to Farrugia, who decided to make the call. The other players folded out of the way, which brought about the showdown.
Farrugia rolled over , which lef Waggoner's in good position. The pocket pair was in an even better position by the time the board ran out .

Yevgeniy Timoshenko is an international visitor who played the Aussie Millions last year, but he's now a little better known thanks to his victory in the Asian Poker Tour event in Macau that netted him US$500,000. The 20 year old American isn't yet old enough to play in the World Series of Poker yet, but is making a name for himself in Asia and Europe as a formidable opponent.
He makes his first appearance at the Aussie Millions here today and has just found a handy double up on a flop of . Timoshenko moved all in for his last 3,550 holding and found a caller who revealed .

Lee Nelson raised from the cut off with and found a caller in Martin Comer from the big blind with . The flop came , and Nelson bet out on his straight flush draw. He was called by Comer.
The turn didn't make Nelson's straight, but it was enough to put him in front. Nelson moved the last of his chips into the pot and Comer once again made the call.
The river blanked the and Nelson succesfully doubled through; he's now moved up to 12,000.
Rainer Quel has doubled through an opponent. The chips went into the middle on a flop of . Quel held for the nut flush draw, and found himself with the best hand as his opponent was also drawing with .
The turn was the and river the . Quel made his flush and doubled to 14,000 chips.
Lee "Final Table" Nelson is a patient poker player, but sometimes patience isn't enough. He's been looking for his spots today but hasn't found many. He tried to pick up a pot on the turn of a board that showed with a bet of 700 chips, but his opponent moved all in over the top of that raise for 2,100 more. Nelson was forced to fold and finds himself with the starting number of chips in his stack -- 5,000.
Andrew McGreggor didn't hold onto his newfound chips for long. He was all in against another short stack just a few hands after he previously eliminated an opponent. This time, McGreggor showed against , but his opponent spiked a five on the river to double up.
"That's an interesting turn card," said Andrew McGreggor as the dealer burned and turned. The board showed . McGreggor was on the verge of eliminating a short stack. The two players had gotten all in preflop, although McGreggor's opponent was the one at risk of elimination. McGreggor's was in the lead, but he had to fade his opponent's .
The river came down a complete brick, the . McGreggor dragged the pot to move up to 15,250 and send another player home early.
Jim Mastorakos Triples Up
Jim Mastorakos has burst back to life with a bang.
With the last of his 2,600 going in the middle preflop and holding , Mastorakos found two callers.
He wasn't impressed when the door card brought the to the flop, but all of a sudden he burst back to life when the and the filled out the flop.
The turn brought more worries for Mastorakos with the , which meant that any spade could certainly be bad for him. The completed complete the board and amazingly for Mastorakos, neither caller had a spade. Mastorakos tripled up to around 8,000.
