Perry Friedman was just eliminated from the tournament as the third player to hit the rail. Friedman started off with a growing chip stack, but over the last couple of levels ran his 24,000 down to 0.

Marsha Waggoner just climbed out of the gutter after making queens and fives against Perry Friedman's jacks and nines. Friedman bet seventh and Waggoner tanked before calling. Her call was right and she was able to pick up the chips to move back to 23,325. Friedman slipped to 11,565.

Leo Boxell has dropped about 12,000 chips from his stack over the last bunch of hands. Boxell hasn't shown down anything, he's just gone to fifth and sixth street a few times and ended up folding each time. He's now on 40,000.

We picked up the action on sixth street between the wonder that is David Steicke and Matt Grapenthien.
Steicke: (X-X)(X)
Grapenthien: (X-X)(X)
On sixth, Steicke fired a bet and Grapenthien raised. Steicke made the call. After the final card on seventh, Steicke checked and Grapenthien bet. Steicke raised and Grapenthien called.
Steicke's down cards were to give him nines full of fours. Grapenthien didn't show and was left shaking his head.
Grapenthien is down to 28,000 and Steicke up to 17,000.

It's always nice when your buried pairs improve in 7-Card Stud. Con Angelakis just started a hand with buried jacks and improved to trip jacks. He had to wait to get his trips until seventh street, but better late than never.
With that pot, Angelakis moved back to 25,000 chips.

Luke McLean seemed pretty tilted after getting as low as 7,000 chips.
"I'm going to be the first one out," he said at one point. But since then, McLean's battled back to 16,000 chips. He's seated with Leo Boxell who has 46,000 and Matt Grapenthien who has 35,000 so there's plenty of chips for him to take and make a comeback with.

All 25 players that entered the field lasted until the 6th level, but during this level we've lost one. There's now 24 remaining and the players have been reseated at three tables instead of four.
