Langmann Locks It Up

Florian Langmann has tied his match up against Ron Beggs.

The key hand saw Langmann bet 900 on a flop of {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Beggs made the call and they both checked the {3-Diamonds} on the turn.

The river was the {q-Spades} and Beggs made a weird little bet of 200, with Langmann coming back over the top for 1,400. Beggs instantly called, but then mucked as soon as he saw Langmann's {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

This left Langmann in a commanding position and he tied the match soon after.

Another Retallick into the Second Round

Gary Retallick will be hoping his second round fortunes are better than that of his wife Sandra, after he advanced from the first over Michael Watson in a hard fought and long match.

Sandra Retallick made the second, but was quickly bundled out by Dani Stern.

Gary will face Darren Woods in a round two match.

Game In Progress

Andrew Seidman 1-1 Michael McWhirter
Michael Watson 1-1 Gary Retallick
Kyle McMurphy 1-1 Fabien Geisel
David Saab 0-0 Harry Kaczka
Ron Beggs 1-0 Florian Langmann

A third round match between Brian Roberts and Harold Olsen has just started.

Harold Olsen Into Round Three

Harold Olsen has advanced to round three after defeating Emil Patel 2-0.

Olsen's flush draw {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} got there, after Patel shoved the {2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop with {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. The turn {k-Hearts} made the flush for Olsen, and the {6-Clubs} bricked off the river.

Olsen joins Brian Roberts and Dani Stern in the third round.

In the Third Round

With different games starting at different times, it's a little difficult to keep track of who is where.

We just checked the bracket to find that Brian Roberts and Tino Lechich's game was a second round match.

That means that he has advanced into the third round, joining fellow Deuces Cracked member Dani Stern.

David Saab Advances Against Jay Rosenkrantz

David Saab has got the result against Jay Rosenkrantz.

They shortened their break, and got back into the play. All the chips went in preflop with Rosenkrantz's {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} trailing the {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} of Saab.

The {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds} board shipped the win to Saab who managed to dodge a chop.

The guys showed a good mutual respect for each other with a sporting handshake and exchange of pleasantries.

Breaks

Jay Rosenkrantz has doubled back into his game against David Saab. In the deciding rubber the chip counts are approximately 6,000 to 4,000 to Saab.

Saab with {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} called Rosenkrantz's preflop all in move with {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

The board blanked {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} to send thing back to an even fight. They've taken a quick break to recharge the Jägermeister.

Michael Watson finally evened things up against Gary Retallick. They've taken a toilet break before the third set.

Saab Seizes Control

David Saab has taken control in the deciding rubber against Jay Rosenkrantz.

While the action was unclear Saab had his tournament life on the line with {k-Spades}{5-Spades} against Rosenkrantz's {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. The board was {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} to ship a big chunk of Krantz's stack to Saab.
