Fold Your Hand or Double Me Up

Jim Sachinidis is providing all the sound bites so far.

Recently all of his chips went in the middle again preflop against David Steicke.

Steicke in a way only Steicke can manage rolled over {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} against Sachinidis' {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

"David, thanks for the call, please keep calling me," said Sachinidis, who turned over {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

Neither player got close to the {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} board meaning Sachinidis would hold up and take down another double up.

"Fold you hand or double me up, I never bluff", said Sachinidis as he stacked up 43,000 in chips. Steicke drops to 85,000.

Suchanek Back On Top

Jan Suchanek

It seems every post involving Jan Suchanek so far has had him bleeding some chips. Not this one. Suchanek took a handy pot off Amit Sheth recently to close the gap on Simon Morris.

Preflop, Sheth opened to 8,000, with Suchanek raising with position to 12,000. Sheth called.

The flop of {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} saw Sheth check to Suchanek. The response was a raise to 4,000. This induced a check-raise from Sheth and Suchanek called.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and Sheth led 8,000, with Suchanek raising to 16,000. Sheth called and the river was the {a-Spades}.

Both players quickly checked the river with Sheth showing {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, which was bettered by Suchanek's {J-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a set of Jacks.

Sheth drops to 32,000. Suchanek is up to 130,000.
