So Long, Selbst

Selbst: eliminated
Selbst: eliminated
Vanessa Selbst moved all in for her last 9,000 in chips into the middle holding pocket tens but ran into the pocket aces of Daniel Neilson.

An ace fell on the turn and it was enough for Neilson to deliver the final blow to Selbst. He's now up to 50,000 in chips.

Damm!

Kenneth Damm moved his last 2,400 into the middle holding {q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, only to be called down by the {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} of Stefan Huber.

Huber was behind all the way down the flop turn of {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{a-Spades}, but managed to spike the {9-Clubs} on the river to send Kenneth to eternal Damm-nation.

Another Big Pot For Neilson

With an all-in raise from under the gun, Daniel Neilson moved all in over the top behind him, with Vanessa Selbst also making the call as another massive preflop clash developed.

The UTG player held {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} but was dominated by Neilson's {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} as Selbst held the only pair with her {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

However the board was once again kind to Neilson as it landed {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{A-Hearts}{2-Clubs} giving him a full house. He's suddenly up to 40,000 as Selbst slips to just 9,000.

Neilson Scoops In Four-Way Carnage

Do not flip with this man!
Do not flip with this man!
A massive hand has gone down with several short stacks looking to gamble it up, with Daniel Neilson and Vanessa Selbst becoming the chief beneficiaries.

A player in the hijack position opened to 1,150 before Daniel Neilson raised to 4,750 in the cutoff. Vanessa Selbst moved all in over the top, as did the player in the big blind, with both the hijack and Neilson coming along for the ride.

Hijack: {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Neilson: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Selbst: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}
Big Blind: {4-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The board was spread {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Neilson made a flush to scoop the main pot as Selbst picked up the side pot with her ace-high!

Neilson is up to 19,000 with Selbst at 25,000.

David Zhao Eliminated

Zhao: goes KA-POW
Zhao: goes KA-POW
A big pot had developed between David Zhao and Josh 'JJprodigy' Field in the previous hand and our reporter just got there to see the chips being shiped over to Field, leaving Zhao with just 1,000 in chips.

Zhao moved it into the middle on the very next hand preflop; Mick Nolton and Ross Boatman called to go heads-up into a sidepot on a flop that read {2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-?}.

Nolton led out and Boatman quickly folded, leaving Zhao and Nolton to table their cards:

Nolton: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Zhao: {a-Clubs}{K-Clubs}

The turn of the {a-Spades} put Zhao into the lead, giving him some hope of tripling up, but Nolton would have the last laugh (and the last of Zhao's chips) when the {j-Diamonds} spiked on the river for a set!

Dong Wins With Nine-High

Some days it must be nice to be Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis. We didn't catch the action but we're assuming that Karamalikis was calling a short stack who had shoved preflop. The end result was that Karamalikis eliminated a player with just nine-high!

The only cards on the table were Karamalikis' {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} as he was pushed the chips on a board of {J-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{K-Hearts}{3-?}!

Karamalikis is up to 37,000.
