Late Registration Anyone?

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Once the upcoming break is completed, today's field will be locked out.

Currently it appears as though nearly 300-players have taken their seat, and unless we see an influx of players over the next twenty minutes, the Day 1a field will struggle to push the 300-plus number.

Saab Silenced

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Cliff Lee limped in under the gun only to have David Saab make it 800 to go two seats over.

The blinds folded, but Lee made the call to see a {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop fall and Lee following with a bet of 1,000.

Saab made the call, and as the {2-Spades} landed on the turn, was greeted with a 1,500-chip bet from Lee.

Saab uttered a few words before again smooth-calling as the {A-Spades} landed on the river and Lee made it 2,100 straight - exactly what Saab had remaining.

Saab pondered slightly before making the call only to muck at the sight of Lee's {K-}{2-} for two pair.

Smith Picks Some Chips Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Facing a limp, Dan Smith made it 725 from the hi-jack and managed to find a call from an opponent on the button as well as the limper.

The Broadway-tasting flop of {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{A-Spades} was greeted with a 1,625-chip continuation bet from Smith, which proved enough as both his opponents quickly passed.

Smith has now returned to his starting stack.

Poker Vox Pop: Tony "Bond18" Dunst

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

With Dennis Huntly opening from early position to 475 and finding one caller, Tony "Bond18" Dunst three-bet to 1,700 from the cutoff.

"He's only doing that because you're there!" announced Huntly in the direction of the PokerNews reporter jotting down the action.

Huntly called as the player caught in the middle mucked as the dealer spread a {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop. A 2,100-chip continuation bet from Dunst would be enough to force a fold from Huntly as Dunst collected the pot to move to 14,900.

We at PokerNews thought there was no better time to grab Dunst for a few hard-hitting questions!

Ho Halted

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Maria Ho has just been bumped to the rail.

After opening the action preflop, Ho was met with a series of callers to see a {7-}{5-}{2-} flop fall.

Ho pushed out a continuation bet before being finding herself all in against one opponent holding jacks to dominate her tens.

The turn and river blanked out for Ho, and consequently she was forced to head to the rail.

Akenhead Chipping Up

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

James Akenhead entered the pot with a raise to 400 from the cutoff and both the blinds in Paul Rochford and Ismail Ismail made the call.

The {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop was greeted with a 1,000-chip continuation bet to see both his opponents fold as the 2009 WSOP and WSOP Europe final tablist collect the pot and move to over 16,000 in chips.
