After ten hours of intense shootout battles through two rounds of play, the Event 4: $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Shootout final table has been set!

Spread over eighteen tables, 158 players took to the felt to contest a format of poker that some still believe is the most pure of all the no limit hold'em formats. Many a poker superstar decided to contest their skills as the best players located here in Melbourne looked to claim the fourth gold ring of the 2011 Aussie Millions.

Full Tilt Poker Red Pro's James Akenhead, Annette Obrestad, Scott Montgomery, Jonathan Karamalikis, Barny Boatman, Simon Watt, Steve Yea and Billy Argyros all failed to make the money as did Event 1 and 2 winners Martin Drewe and Jarred Solomon. Internationals Tony Dunst, Dan Smith, Tony Bloom, Jeffrey Sarwer and JP Kelly, alongside local players Tyron Krost, Stewart Scott, Grant Levy and Jay Kinkade also failed to make the money-paying top eighteen.

Now guaranteed an AUD$2,015 payday, four eliminations on each table would be all that was needed for one of the remaining to be ensured a final table spot - and in just a little over three hours, ten would remain with the following locking up a coveted final table spot.

No player in the final ten possesses an Aussie Millions title, and from 4:00 pm EST tomorrow you will be able to witness a maiden Aussie Millions victory for one of the players as PokerNews provides the exclusive coverage of the Event 4: $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Shootout final table live from the Crown Poker Room!

Dean Nyberg Eliminated in 11th Place (AUD$2,015)

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 300 ante
Dean Nyberg
Dean Nyberg

Folded around to Dean Nyberg in the small blind, he had already committed over a quarter of his stack and decided now was his time, shipping into the big blind of Andrew Teng. Teng made the call and we were one board away from a final table!

Teng: {7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Nyeberg: {7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Bad timing for Nyeberg, he needed some help if he was going to see another hand.

Board: {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Did somebody say brick! Nothing of interest on this board and Nyberg was sent home in 11th place, collecting AUD$2,015.

Dean Nyberg shipped his last 42,600 into the pot and Justin Walch made the call from the small blind.

Nyberg: {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Walch: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}

The flop of {8-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} gave Nyberg a gutshot to go with his two over cards, and when the {10-Spades} landed on the turn, he took the lead.

The {8-Clubs} on the river ensured Nyberg the double to 90,000 as Walch slipped to 45,000 in chips.

David Morton Eliminated in 12th Place (AUD$2,015)

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 300 ante
David Morton - 12th place
David Morton - 12th place

David Morton is our 12th place finisher, his demise coming at the hands of Jack Powell.

With Morton in the small blind, the action was folded to Powell on the button, who made a raise. At this point Morton moved allin, getting the big blind out of the way and Powell making the call.

Powell: {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Morton: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop contained a king, with {k-}{10-}{3-} turning over. Morton still had outs but the {k-} on the turn sealed Morton's trip to the rail. A brick on the river and it was home time for Morton, exiting in 12th place.

David Lacchia Eliminated in 13th Place (AUD$2,015)

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 300 ante
David Lacchia - 13th place
David Lacchia - 13th place

David Lacchia has struggled to gather any momentum since defeating his first table, but looking down at {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}, he was happy to commit the remainder of his chips.

Charlie Combes - after sweating his {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} - gave him some action, and when the {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop fell, Lacchia was feeling good at a potential double.

Unfortunately, the deck was just teasing Lacchia as the {Q-Clubs} spiked on the turn to swift the pot into Combes favor as a meaningless blank fell on the river.

For his efforts, Lacchia collected AUD$2,015 as Combes moves to 230,000 in chips.
