Trouble

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Team Full Tilt Poker member Phil Ivey has seen his stack fall to 52,000 here on Day 2. He just hasn't been able to drag many pots his way, although you can't do that when you're forced to fold on the river multiple times.

Ivey raised to 3,000 from the hijack seat and Mitchell Carle made the call from the cutoff to see the flop come down {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Both players checked and the turn brought the {J-Diamonds}. Both checked again. The river completed the board with the {3-Hearts} and Ivey check-folded to a bet of 9,500 from Carle.

On the next hand, Ivey again raised preflop to start the action. He made it 3,000 and his fellow Team Full Tilt Poker member Patrik Antonius made the call from the hijack seat. The flop came down {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Ivey fired 5,000 with Antonius calling. The turn brought the {K-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {9-Hearts} pair the board on the river. Ivey checked and Antonius bet 11,000. Ivey mucked.
