On the board, one player checked the action to $100,000 Challenge winner Dan Smith. Smith bet 1,875 and got check-raised to 5,450. Smith folded and dropped under 20,000 in chips.
Phil Ivey was involved in yet another pot, this time on the board against two other players. After the first player checked and the second player bet 3,500, Ivey called. "Just call me 'Carwash George'", the player said who just won a nice pot with Phil Ivey involved. Ivey started off the action with a raise to 550 getting calls from two players. The first player bet 1,600 and George decided to raise to 3,200. Ivey folded his cards as did the other player. George turned over and he probably wasn't happy with the small amount of chips he won.
Meanwhile Ivey produced a smile as the next hand got dealt. He is up to 120,000 chips and crushing this thing!
Tony Bloom won the Aussie Millions Main Event in 2004 but he will have to wait another year for his second victory. On a flop there were lots of bets and raises. Bloom had a yellow 5,000 chip in front of him while his opponent, Stanley Woo, had two of those chips invested. Bloom decided to shove for 30,750 and Woo made the call.
