The Last Three Tables

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The last three tables of the tournament have been reached with the elimination of Phares Bouya. He shoved for 10 big blinds with the {A-Spades}{10-Spades} and Sinan Aydogan looked him up with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Aydogan had the way better kicker, but there was a sweat on the turn {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{J-Spades} as his opponent had picked up an open-ended straight draw.

It was the {5-Hearts} on the river that sent Bouya to the rail and soon after, table 25 broke as the field had been reduced to only 27.

Savage's Run Comes to an End

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Ben Savage
Ben Savage

Not long ago, Benjamin Savage had doubled up his short stack against Daniel Neilson and was in great shape to do so again after moving all in for what looked like 180,000.

Savage: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Neilson: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The cruel flop {7-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} left Savage with one out only and it was not meant to be for the Aussie, who joined the rail in 29th place with {4-Hearts} turn and {J-Hearts} river as final two community cards.

Dahl Delivers Double Knockout

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jake Dahl opened for 25,000 and got two callers, including Jack Lee, before Josep Maria Galindo Lopez shipped it in for 80,000 more from the small blind.

Dahl raised 100,000 on top of that, and after one caller folded, Lee called all in for much less.

Dahl: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Lee: {j-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Lopez: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Dahl scooped, knocking both shorter stacks to the rail and moving his stack up to 600,000.

Flatcher Scores Big Double Up

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mark Malecha opened to 25,000 and was called three ways including Wayne Brindley, Frenc Riech and Patrick Fletcher in the big blind. On the flop {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Fletcher checked and Malecha bet 50,000. Brindley squeezed to 150,000 and that got Riech to fold.

Fletcher however had other plans and moved all in for 278,000 in total. Malecha tank-folded and Brindley called after some consideration with the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Fletcher's {10-Clubs}{J-Hearts} were far ahead and he doubled once the board completed with the {6-Clubs} turn and {5-Diamonds} river.

Farrell Folds the Flop

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

After a three-bet preflop, Niall Farrell led the flop {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} for 82,000 and his sole opponent Stephen Koutsouvelis squeezed to 240,000. Farrell quickly folded and Koutsouvelis flashed the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} to build up his solid table image.

Savage Doubles

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Benjamin Savage was all in and at risk for his last 91,000 with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. The run bad of Daniel Neilson against short stacks as of recently continued, as he failed to deal the final blow with {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts} after a board of {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}.
