Drinan Doubles with Aces

Level 15 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Connor Drinan found {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} and made it 32,000 on the button. Fedor Holz in the big blind shoved all in for effectively 217,000 with {9-Spades}{8-Spades} and Drinan obviously called as quick as he could.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs} helping Holz to a pair. The {K-Spades} on the turn was a blank though, and so was the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Drinan doubled up and Holz shipped one-third of his stack over. Holz started out as the chip leader but that time is long gone.

Chip Counts

Level 15 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

One for Greenwood

Level 15 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Action folded to Jason Mercier in the small blind and he limped with the {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Sam Greenwood checked his option with the {k-Hearts}{9-Spades} and the two saw a flop of {2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Mercier bet 16,000, Greenwood called, and then both players checked the {3-Spades} turn. When the {4-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Mercier checked and Greenwood bet 39,000.

Mercier hit the tank, even using a time bank extension, but ultimately released his hand.

Drinan Folds Sevens

Level 15 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Connor Drinan raised to 32,000 under the gun holding the {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Fedor Holz called from the hijack with the {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Ben Tollerene was getting a good price in the big blind, so he came along to make it three-way action to the {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop.

Tollerene checked, Drinan bet 40,000, and only Holz called to see the {K-Clubs} turn. Drinan slowed down with a check and then ended up folding the best hand when Holz bet 70,000.

Koon and Holz Chop It Up

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jason Koon made it 28,000 with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} from the cutoff. Fedor Holz on the button flat called with {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and both blinds quickly released.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{J-Spades} pairing up both. Koon checked, and then called the 30,000 bet that followed. The {A-Hearts} on the turn gave Holz a flush draw and both players checked.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and another two checks later the two of them chopped the pot.

Mercier Slow Plays Ace-King

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Connor Drinan made it 25,000 to go with {A-Clubs}{7-Spades} from the cutoff. Jason Mercier in the big blind found {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and just called.

The flop came {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Mercier checked. Drinan made a continuation bet of 25,000 and Mercier just called.

The {9-Spades} on the turn resulted in Drinan drawing dead. Mercier checked again and Drinan followed suit. The {K-Diamonds} on the river made Mercier trips and he made a bet. Before we could even figure out how much it exactly was (the graphics showed 25,000 but it was more), Drinan had already folded.

Tollerene Flops Two Pair

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ben Tollerene made it 28,000 with {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts} from the cutoff. Fedor Holz defended his big blind with the dominated {10-Spades}{9-Spades}. While two nines were gone, another one hit the flop: {K-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

Holz checked from the big blind and Tollerene bet 30,000 with his flopped two pair. Holz thought about it for a bit before calling. The {8-Clubs} hit the turn which made him drawing dead. Holz checked and Tollerene bet 135,000 into the 136,000 pot. Holz folded.

Quoss with the Hero Call

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Fabian Quoss raised to 28,000 from the button and Connor Drinan defended from the big blind with the {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}. The {5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop saw Drinan check-call a bet of 30,000 with his flush draw, and the both players checked the {10-Hearts} turn.

When the {9-Clubs} completed the board on the river, Drinan bet 65,000 and Quoss thought for a bit before making the call with the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}, which proved to be the best hand.
