Mustafa's Massive Shove Gets Paid

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

A player on the button bet 2,700 into a pot of about 8,000 after {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flopped, only for Arif Mustafa to check-shove for exactly 25,000 in the cutoff. After getting a count, the player on the button called for most of his own chips.

Mustafa: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Opponent: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Mustafa had complete control, only fading two queens, but the {9-Diamonds} gave him more of a sweat since he had to dodge diamonds as well. The river was a {10-Clubs}.

Gathy Eliminated by Judah

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante
Michael Gathy
Michael Gathy

Michael Gathy moved all in for 7,700. It folded to Mel Judah in the small blind who called. The big blind folded and the cards were turned over.

Michael Gathy: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Mel Judah: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

There was an Ace on the flop of {2-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}, but Gathy got to his feet when the {10-Hearts} came on the turn giving Judah a set. The {k-Hearts} confirmed the elimination of Gathy.

Judah Cracks Aces

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Mel Judah had 1,400 in front of him in late position when we got to his table and was considering the all-in shove of a player in the small blind. It was 11,500, and Judah decided to call.

Judah: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The Aussie legend was way behind, and the {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs} brought little in the way of help. The {3-Spades} turn caused a murmur to roll through the table, and Judah completed his flush on the {j-Spades} river.

Nice Flop for Neilson

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

Daniel Neilson was in middle position and had built a sizable pot of nearly 11,000 preflop against a player on his right. That player bet 5,000 on a {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and Neilson called. Both players checked the {j-Spades} and the {5-Diamonds} and Neilson's opponent showed {a-}{k-}. Not enough, as Neilson had flopped lucky with {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

Stiefel Doubles Through Czuczor

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

"Please no ten," said Nikki Stiefel. "No wait - no seven!"

Stiefel was all in with {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} against the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} of Martin Czuczor. The board ran out {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Stiefel doubled her stack of 11,100 to around 24,000. Czuczor has a similar amount.

A Big Double for Ruge

Level 7 : 300/600, 100 ante

"Pretty sick heater," Arne Ruge admitted after a big double through Amar Anand, while the latter replied "how many times have I three-bet and four-bet you?!"

Ruge raised from the cutoff, Anand three-bet the button and Ruge four-bet to 11,800. Anand moved all in and the German snap-called for a very specific reason.

Arne Ruge: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Amar Anand: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board of {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} brought no upset and Ruge doubled for 104,000. In the next hand, Ruge opened again and Najeem Ajez three-bet to 4,100 in order to force a quick fold.

Mehta Gets Big After Two Outer

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

The player on the button raised and Pratik Mehta in the big blind three-bet only for his opponent to four-bet to 11,000. Mehta moved all in for effectively 45,000 and the button quickly called.

Button: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Pratik Mehta: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The board came {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and the jack on the turn gave Mehta the superior full house and boost his stack nicely.
