Sheynin Eliminated by Guillen

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Miroslav Sheynin raised to 10,000 from middle position before Angel Guillen moved all in for 194,500 from the big blind.

Sheynin had 95,000 in his stack and went into the tank for over a minute. He then called.

Angel Guillen: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Miroslav Sheynin: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} to see Sheynin unable to improve before being sent to the rail.

Huang Eliminated by Lee

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Farid Jattin raised to 12,000 from the cutoff and was called by Gyeong Byeong Lee on the button. Vincent Huang then re-raised to 83,500 from the small blind leaving 24,500 behind. Jattin thought for a minute and folded. Lee didn't take as long and called, before motioning like he was going to table his cards, not realising that Huang still had chips behind.

Both players watched as the flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Huang checked. Lee then pushed forward a stack of chips and announced all in. Huang didn't seem overly pleased and reluctantly called moments later.

Gyeong Byeong Lee: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Vincent Huang: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Lee had improved to a set on the flop and had Huang needing to catch running cards to survive.

It was all over when the {3-Spades} dropped on the turn before the meaningless {5-Spades} completed the board.

Wright Tank-Folds River As Bubble Approaches

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Huijie Zhou opened from under the gun and Nicholas Wright defended his big blind. The flop came {2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Wright check-called 13,500.

The turn was the {2-Hearts}. Wright check-called 27,000 leaving himself around 100,000 behind.

The river was the {3-Spades} and Wright checked only for Zhou to move all in. Wright tanked, glancing up at the clock which showed 95 players remaining. Eventually he folded.

"Nice bluff," tablemate Michael Soyza said to Zhou, who said he had {8-}{8-} for a full house.

Jattin Continuing to Climb After Eliminating Yan

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
David Yan
David Yan

Farid Jattin raised to 12,000 from middle position before David Yan re-raised to 51,500 from the small blind. Jattin called.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Yan continued for 40,000. Jattin called.

The turn brought the {a-Spades} and Yan checked. Jattin paused for a minute before sliding forward a stack of chips totalling 500,000. The bet had Yan's stack of 160,000 well covered.

Yan went into the tank for almost three minutes before eventually making the call.

Farid Jattin: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
David Yan: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Jattin had turned the higher pair and had Yan drawing to two outs.

The {10-Clubs} would not help Yan and he would be sent to the rail agonisingly close to the money.

The river was the {8-Clubs}. Chabra checked and De Goede went all in. Chabra went deep into the tank with a pained look on his face, and after over five minutes he folded.

"Ace-high, show the bluff!" said tablemate Rory Young. De Goede let Chabra pick a card, and Chabra chose the {10-Diamonds}.

Michael Behnert
Michael Behnert

Michael Behnert got his last 57,500 in from early position and was called by Chao Duan on the button. Michael Addamo in the big blind was in the think tank and the clock was called on him, the two-time WSOP bracelet winner then called. The remaining two players checked the {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and the {4-Spades} turn.

On the {K-Diamonds} river, Addamo bet 35,000 and Duan raised to 75,000. Some table chat broke out between the duo and Addamo reluctantly called. Behnert showed {A-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Duan claimed the pot with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}, Addamo mucked and lost more than half of his stack close to the money bubble.
