Del Vecchio Rights the Ship

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Start-of-day chip leader Mike Del Vecchio hadn't really moved above the stack he began Day 4 with and had steadily drifted back to just above average.

On a {q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts} board Anthony Kingston checked and Del Vecchio bet 185,000. Robert Glasspool, fresh from his triple up, folded and Kingston called.

Del Vecchio showed {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a flush and Kingston mucked {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for an inferior flush face up on the table.

Glasspool Triples Up

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Mike Del Vecchio opened to 45,000 and Simon Chahine called before Robert Glasspool three-bet all in for 290,000 from the small blind. The other two players called.

The board of {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs} was checked down and all cards were opened. Del Vecchio showed {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for top pair, with Chahine mucking {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Glasspool turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for top pair, out-kicking Del Vecchio, and tripling up in the process.

On the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop, Simon Chahine in the small blind checked and called a bet of 125,000 by Mike Del Vecchio on the button. The {9-Spades} turn brought another check by Chahine and Del Vecchio fired a second barrel worth 250,000, which Chahine called.

They checked the {J-Hearts} on the river and Del Vecchio showed {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, Chahine won the pot with {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

De Goede and Taylor Trade Double Ups

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Moments after the elimination of Andrian Chin, the remaining stack of Pim De Goede was cut out to be for 307,000 and he had the winning hand with {A-Clubs}{3-Spades} for two pair on the {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades} board. Clinton Taylor only held {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for top pair and was left with a mountain to climb.

Soon after, they both clashed again and it was Taylor at risk for 153,000 on the button with De Goede making the call.

Clinton Taylor: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Pim De Goede: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Taylor doubled once more.

Andrew Hinrichsen opened to 50,000 on the button and Thibaut Klinghammer three-bet to 120,000 from the small blind. Hinrichsen then four-bet to 240,000 and Klinghammer five-bet all in.

Hinrichsen took his time, scanning the other tables for a sign of an all in, as the next pay jump was worth around AU$20,000.

Eventually, he called with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} and held against Klinghammer's {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} on the {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades} run out.

Flynn Doubles Through Wakeman

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Pim De Goede shoved for 441,000 from the cutoff and Matthew Wakeman asked for a count on the button before reluctantly folding.

Soon after, Wakeman took on Gavin Flynn and the latter jammed the {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs} river. Wakeman called eventually and couldn't beat the {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for the nut straight.
